Tonight we had a dramatic episode of air in our cold water lines. After running multiple sinks for several minutes, it seems to have passed (at least for now). No discoloration. We are on a county water system (pump station is about half-mile away). Called a couple neighbors who said their lines were fine. THis has never happened before. Cannot see any problems with lines in basement. No recent work has been done on house other than re-shingle the roof last Wednesday. No digging in yard. Anything I should check or precautions I should take? Checked the meter at the street - did not see any water coming out (although I can't remove the cover).
