Hello everyone, I just joined the forum and I'm happy to be a part of your group. I'm an experienced plumber and I know a little bit about computers. I look forward to interacting with you all.

We welcome everyone! Glad to have you aboard!. We do try to be DIY friendly here, on the theory that if a homeowner asks a question, he IS bound and determined to do it, regardless. If we can get him to do it correctly, we call that a win-win.

Occasionally people are clearly in over their heads, or are into dangerous turf like gas work. We try to steer them to a licensed plumber if appropriate, but the fact is that many states, like Calif, DO allow a homeowner to pull a permit for gas work, so we try to walk a fine line!
