I want a real xmas tree this year and, my neighbor has this fine looking little tree they aren't using, do you think, it would be unneighborly, for me to get a little axe and chop it down? Just asking...

If its the same neighbor that throws their trash on your property, then why not/ Just tell them you thought they dumped it on your side and you put it to good use.
OR, just decorate it where it is.
