I'm getting ready to add another layer of insulation in the attic. I have 3 can lights that were probably installed in the past 10 years but there's no label indicating if I can insulate around them. I've looked up in the attic and removed the baffles to look for any information. Is there a way to determine this?

There's a label somewhere on the can - it might be inside under the trim. If it's not IC rated, you must leave space around and above it. You can use a box around it if it leaves at least the minimum space, and put insulation on top of that, though. You need space to the sides and the top.
