Can this pex be installed in an attic close to an exterior wall where it gets indirect sunlight from an unsealed porch.

Just insulate it with armorflex and it will be fine.

UV rays are "line of sight" so they do not affect pipes which are in "indirect sunlight".

I did a little research and it seems like UV rays can be reflected - even off of the concrete porch floor. However, not sure how much would actually be reflected - especially up 9 feet high?

They are so "weak" that a single layer of latex paint will protect the pipe from them so how much effect would they have if they were reflected off a rough surface like concrete?
