I am adding a bathroom in my basemwent. There is already plumbing for a toilet, but I am adding a sink and shower. Where the shower is going I have a floor drain about 2.5 to 3 feet from where the shower drain will line up. What do I need to do? Do I have to break up the floor? Or can I somehow tie the current floor drain with the new shower?
