Saw your article the other day about the Failing 250 rig. I heard that George Faiiling was an eccentric man in his later years, is this true?

I'd like to see some pics of the little rig if you've got any.

I knew George well and he was a typical well driller. . . I wouldn't describe him as an eccentric man, he just knew what he knew, could build anything, was a little set in his ways and didn't take any guff from anyone! George's friend and competitor Joe Franks of Franks Mfg. and later Speedstar in Enid was the same way. Just like most well drillers.
Keep reading my articles, there will be more about our Failing 250 with photos. It's good to receive a personal email from my friends and readers.
