60 ft. Very old sandpoint with leak in outside casing. Can we put 1 in. plastic inside the 1 1/4 in. existing inside pipe? Will there be enuf space in pipe to draw? Any ideas on how 2 connect 2 pump? HELP!

Why not? I'd try it, but i'd go 1/2" pvc pipe. Give more space. Connect to pump using reducers
