Default gray cloudy water from well

Hi recently i installed a shallow dug well with lots of water. initiall the water was very turbid and cloudy gray. i have sonce pumped the well off twice and after recharging, the water is clearer but still has a gray cloudy tint. last night i poured bleach into a glass of the cloudy water, stirred it around and left it. this morning the water was crystal clear with a layer of sediment in the bottom of the glass. what does this mean for my well water?? Can i just dump bleach into my 24" diameter culvert well liner and the the water clear or will i have to keep adding it over time? Will i end up with too much sediment on the bottom of my well? Thanks to anyone who can help - its frustrating to have so much water and be unable to use it

You need to pump the sediment out. Pumping it twice is just the start. It will probably clear up but it may take a while with that large a diameter of hole. If it is not pretty clean after 50 times, you might try something else.

You gotta pump the crap out of it... Pump her dry, recharge...Pump her dry, recharge...At least 30 times..
Develop the well so that underground water passages or veins open up to feed the well. You have to get a submersible pump to do this right.
