Its a 3rd generation intel processor thats rather nice from my experience, I use the big brother i7 and the 4000HD graphics that they provide are excellent. Intel is built for maximum compatibility and reliability, I see that after having problems with AMD for so many years.
This processor can handle all everything you can throw at it, without the extra graphics card. As long as you dont intend to play 2012 release video games.
I use these processors for CAD, Video editing, Special effects creation, Web design, and Photoshop and they are amazing.
