Default pumping from spring to house

    Hello,
Want to pump water from a spring to the house (cellar). Spring is about 250 feet away is about 3 feet deep, and terrain is about level. Spring is maybe a couple feet higher in elevation overall from cellar, maybe even about level.
Waterline, one inch plastic pipe, would run overland (warm season set up only). Want to have the pump and tank in the house cellar. Water would be used mostly for small garden irrigation, or even some for drinking, not very high volume.

Wondering if a shallow well jet pump will work for this application, or recommendations for what best to use?
System was once serviced by an underground line connected to a shallow well wheel-type piston 110volt Myers shallow well pump.
Please give any recommendations / advice to build this system. Thanks.

For that distance, I would use 2" pipe on the shallow well jet pump.
