too many elbows?

The shower panel I bought connects to 1/2 inch threads. I put two of these together to get connections where they need to be. My wife thought maybe too many turns would affect the water pressure, or might otherwise be a problem somehow. I think it should be ok? Haven't installed them yet....

You're expecting a tight fit at the perfect orientation for that male threaded 90?

No tight fit to the threads. the shower panel has some braided supply line inside of it that will connect to those. I used the elbows to bring them out through the backerboard and also to bring them closer together, to fit inside the width of the panel.
