GSW 50 Gal Direct Vent Water Heater

Hi all, I'm in the market for a new water heater and seriously considering a GSW 50 Gal Direct vent unit. Home Hardware sells for $899 and change.

I'm wondering what the general opinion is of GSW tanks?

I have never even heard of them, so they must be unique to Canada. Normally, they would NOT be proprietary company, but would either make other brands or be a rebrand from another company.

i believe GSW is a mother brand for soem other brands, John Wood being one of them. i have used john wood direct vent heaters with no problems
