Default Is Class 150 SS 316 sufficient for Couplings?

Is Class 150 is sufficient for any coupling in a well installation?

I think Class 150 is good up til about 300 W.O.G.

Just want to make sure cuz I am not paying the $$$ for class 300!

    Thanks!

I would NOT use ANY "class" PVC for anything other than shallow irrigation systems. The wall thickness is typically half that of sch. 40 pipe which should be the MINIMUM quality used.

Never heard of a threaded coupling being rated as class 150 or 300. That sounds like a rating for a flange. I use galv couplings and just tape over the outside after tightning. The inside of the couplings are not exposed to oxygen.
