    Default Interior costs calculated correctly?

    we are planning to buy a finished house technology. In this we have to define the complete flooring, wallpapering, painting ceilings, interior windowsills, full bathroom, interior doors and installed buy. We now have time nee financial statement made, it would be to hear nice of you if that approximately fits or if you would change some totals.

    sanitary facilities: 2 sinks including faucet -> 350
    shower faucet + cab -> 700
    bathtub + fitting -> 600
    2 toilet including cistern -> 650
    6 indoor window sills -> 240
    10 interior doors -> 2500
    Flooring: Floor tiles 50m -> 2000 (40 / sqm, we have calculated)
    wall tiles 25m -> 500 ( 20 / sqm, we have calculated) laminate 80m -> 2400 (30 / sqm, we have calculated)
    wallpaper complete -> 800
    color for ceiling painting -> 500
    If you say expect other prices would we, so you would help us very much,
    have tried not to be expected so close but yet still trying to schedule some buffer. Greeting

    Absolutely no way to verify any of this. We do not know how large the house is or the floor areas. In addition, the costs of the various items depends on WHAT you choose. There is no "generic" price for anything. A toilet, with cistern, can vary from $40.00 US to $1,500.00 US, and everything else can have a similar price range. Only YOU can determine what the prices are based on your selections.

    As HJ points out, material costs can vary widely, but he left out another variable that makes the problem even worst. Labor. Even in the US, labor costs vary greatly from area to area, and I'm sure the same situation exists in the UK. Generally what we suggest is to get 3 or 4 estimates from different companies. Make sure the same parameters are given to each company. This process required on site presence. Throw out estimates that are extremely low as well as extremely high. Make sure each company is properly licensed and insured and check references of the companies remaining.

    I got the impression that they were only concerned with the costs of the fixtures, NOT an installed price. Otherwise, all they needed to ask was a "package" amount for everything after they enumerated the various items.
