I've checked all over the net and can't find a 42" Magnesium Anode for a 12 yr old GE Profile (Rheem) 50 Gallon Gas WH.

I am looking for a 42" that will fit GE/Rheem 50 Gallon Gas Tall built in 2000....

Can anyone point me to a website.

All I have seen are some "Reliance" brands that fit AO Smith.

Thanks!

Some wh the anode is hung on the inlet pipe...some, it is screwed into the tank. That may be the difference or one could be bigger in diameter than the other. Easiest thing is to call them and ask...hopefully, they know their inventory.

Also, unless you have VERY tall ceilings, you probably need a segmented rod or you'd have to uninstall the tank to put one in while it was on its side.
