I'm trying to decide between the Eco Drake and the Drake 2.

It seems they are both excellent and relatively easy to install, both use 1.28 gpf, and the only real difference is e-max vs double cyclone flush.

Anyone biased towards one over the other? Is the double cyclone really worth 80 extra dollars?

Thanks!

The EcoDrake comes in three models.
Regular bowl
Elongated bowl
Elongated ADA height bowl
Under the rim; rinse holes vertically rinse the bowl.

The Drake II comes in
Elongated ADA height
Also has CEFIONTECT
Two outlets rinse the bowl in a circle.

You're paying for the taller bowl, and the CEFIONTECT coating in the bowl.

Thanks for the reply Terry!

But do you think, in your professional opinion, that the Drake 2 warrants an additional 80 dollars spent? In terms of the down-the-road costs?

Well, that's hard to say.

I gave my GF one. It is so much better then the Home Depot toilet it replaced.
And yes, I could have spent less. The bowl stays clean, and I like that.

And I could have spent less on my SUV too. A lot less.
But then, it's great for skiing.
