Gerber Single Lever Tub / Shower Combo

I have a 30-year old, Gerber, single-handle, tub/shower combo. The tub spout drips. I removed the cartridge and took it to the plumbing supply house and they gave me a replacement cartridge. I reassmbled the single handle combo, and the tub spout still drips (same as before).

You could try another cartridge but it sounds like the valve body may be bad. Try to get original factory parts if you didn't already.

Thanks for the reply. Plumbing Supply provided an OEM part. I put the old one back in, when I saw it leaked the same. Happy Friday.
