I had terrible contractor from home Advisor and they botched an easy swap of an apron tub and subway surround! Had to b ripped out! I got a friend to due the re tile! I didn’t realize how bad the first contractor was until a month ago. This started in Sept. a 4 day job has been months. When the new guy caused the tube, when I sat in it the caulk separated in the front and right corner along the side half way! Which tells me not level! But it’s installed , tiled new drywall around ready to paint! Is there a way to caulk or fix or something so it’s not noticeable? I’m in this for double already as the first instal had to b ripped out! Set me back $3000 for a total of $6000 for what should of costed under $2000! Any suggestions

This is what it looks like when I sit in the tub and when I get out it goes back together, lol I thought I was going crazy! There was framing from the previous tub, but I’m disabled and sick so wasn’t standing there to watch the whole process! As he was tiling did I realize he didn’t know what he was doing! Long story but he’s gone. And a friend ( so called) came to rescue me( not really) as he has new health issues and never finished either. And has no idea what to do about this problem! Please give it to me straight! Does it have to b ripped out again or can there b a visual fix? He did everything great! But he had no idea that the previous guy screwed the tub install too! I guess u wouldn’t know until someone sits in it? It seemed level when he checked but never thought about it not being reinforced properly!
