Maybe I should post something controversial here like make fun of the Church of England. but nobody would defend it, methinks. Oh, Ian might. Maybe Cookie too:D

Cookie, thanks for your good humor. Seems like Ian may be an ignostic or atheist, whatever, I don't care, its his choice. just wanted to stir up some activity here. thanks again!

Terry, we need a "stir the pot" emoticon here like on the john bridge forum.

It is a shame that Heathkit quit making kits.

Do you still have the amp ?

I guess you still play Guitar ?

I have a Guitar but prefer playing the drums.

My husband and I used to always buy those for the boys growing up. They were alot of fun to do with them. I didn't realize they quit making them. Now, that is too bad. I got a grandson when he got older I would had bought one for, shucks.

I just googled it to see, they are reintroducing new kits as of this past August. I will have to get him one, and hold onto it, just incase. I noticed you buy some online from days gone by.

Hello Cookie,

Thanks for the info.

I think that most of there stuff is pre-built and comes with Books for learning.

I built many Amateur Radio kits, before they quit making them.

It is nice to see that they are still in business.

WWW.JAMECO.COM has some small kits.

Have a great day.

Wow, I built so many Heathkits when I was a teen. V7A VTVM, TT1 tube tester, so many others. Still have a PACO wink eye Cap/Inductance unit and a Knight Kit Audio generator. built a few Knightkits back then too. sold most of that stuff years ago

Hey Bob,

It has been a while.

I still build electronics but I design my own stuff.

You know that building a V7A and TT1 makes You a old Fart.

I am a old fart also. I still have my tube tester.

Being a old fart is better than letting a wet fart.

I missed the forum but I am back.

I hope that you were able to keep everything under control why I was gone.

Nice to here from you.

The Pros still say the old tube amps sound better that the new solid state amps.

I used my Collins KWS1 to heat my room in the winter.

You got to Love the smell of the old tube stuff, when it is cranked up.

Enjoy your day, I am back to play.

I actually enjoy it here. I'm almost an old fart, but mentally, just a teen:)
