Maax vs Aquatic tubs and showers?

We are building a new house and needing to choose a tub/shower and a shower. We really liked the look of a Maax Stamina shower, but it is twice the cost of an Aquatic shower (both one piece acrylic). Same for their counterparts in tub/showers. We like the Maax Studio. Does anyone have experience with either of these brands or models? Any ideas why the Maax is twice as much?

No idea, but you might check the weight of the units...one might be a lot thicker than the other.
