Do you think dreams have a special meaning?
I drempt like night that I had 14 umbrellas in my purse. Nothing else. Nothing even mascara. Just umbrellas, red ones, pink ones... all the fold up kind.

What do you think Terry?

While younger and having nothing to do once, I played spanish tapes while sleeping to see if I could learn the language. I didn't pick up a word. But, I constantly wanted tacos. :)

I am a very annoying person to sleep with or so, I had been told. My husband told me, I talk ALOT while sleeping, which didn't surprise him, ( not funny) and I would answer him; and, that I was in constant motion, he said, I have "restless body syndrome" like I was running somewhere. When I wasn't talking he said, I was grinding my teeth which he said, he couldn't take at times; and, then, once he said, I was sound asleep talking and smoking a cigerette in the kitchen at 2 am. I don't remember that and thought he was lying lol, until, the kids told me that I smelled like smoke in the morning :)

Some people don't dream. Some people only dream in black & white. I constantly dream. I dream in color, widescreen, HD, and, people even speak in different languages which I can recognize but don't know what is being said.

I have very funny dreams at times and wake up laughing.

I am very busy at night which explains why I am so hungry and tired in the morning.

I think I could make money going to a sleep subject place.
The only think I don't do is snore. He snored and I hated it. :) I told him to get help for it was ruining my sleep and our marriage. LoL.

You must have heard the rain in your sleep.

I think it is more symbolic. I am juggling a huge amount of stuff in my life, and maybe, all those umbrellas , lol, 14 of them, that is funny, means, I am trying to find cover...

could be, don't you think? or I could had just simply heard it raining like crazy. :)

I don't know if anyone laughed at my attempt to be funny, but, if you didn't, this is funny, this happened the other day.

I have been "fighting" a kidney stone for a couple of days, and walking, helps me to get rid of it. So, I have been walking and walking and walking... I have shopped in everystore for something to do. I ended up in Kuhn's, a supermarket. I was at the check out with my loaf of sliced Italian bread when an older man, (with a WW2 hat on) asked me where I got that bread. His wife was so cute. I said, to the girl cashier if she had rung up the bread yet, and then, I said to the man, " here you take my bread." He said, " Oh, I can't take your bread." I said, " I want you to have it" and, just then, the kidney stone moved and the pain became beyond belief, and I couldn't help it, I started crying, but, yet saying, " take the bread." LOL.

The young girl said to me, " you got to be the nicest person I ever waited on."

Good timing Cookie. Yes, the umbrella dreams are funny. You must have seemed a little reluctant in actually giving the bread to the man.
The sales clerk was impressed. I don't think this story is funny, but it is cute.

Ian said in his corner that the cold war must have left a mark on me because I don't seem willing to be giving erything I've earned to my government so they can give it away to whom they decide including people who are "entitled" and poor. I give to the poor and needy on my own. Not to the poor and needy who are in that situation by choice. A wizard's hat for Ian.

I think people get lost on what giving truly is. If it is mandatory that is not giving, giving is to give up what the person chooses to. It isn't always money either. We can give so many other things other than money. I am not really in the position to give money, but, I do other things, which Ian states that the govn should be responsible for doing. Not the individual or the church. That to me is wrong. I give of my time for one. I was asked a long time ago, to volunteer at the hospitals for people newly diagnosed with the disease no one like to speak of, so, off I go whenever duty calls to talk to someone to s say basically, " if I can do it, trust me, you can do it." Whatever "it" might be. A treatment, a surgery, just facing the unknown and trying to have a positive attitude.

I don't know why anyone thinks it is always the govn's job to do stuff.

I collect blankets, boots, hats, gloves, and clothing for people really down and out. People you wouldn't ever want to be.

I think, it is everyone's responsiblity to payback the good fortune maybe, we have had in our lives.

But, it can never be took away from someone, never taken from someone's earnings, and directed where the govn wants it to be. NO, that is not freedom. I honestly believe that Ian means well, he wants no one to suffer or go without, that is so obviously that is kind, and, so well-meaning, that you got to respect that, but, American's has rights and we in the live in the land of the free. I wish what Ian's wishes, no one suffers, no one goes hungry, no one goes uneducated, or homeless, but Ian's way of making us Socialistic isn't going to pan out here. What will work is what Ian doesn't like, more people volunteering, more churches helping out, more people getting involved and more people caring about each other. That is something I know we both agree on. Everyone agrees on, to care more.

There is hunger in all countries, homeless in all countries, people without medical care in all countries, not just the USA.

People need to be accountable for their actions as well. No one should live off the welfare system who can work. I think, accountablility is the USA's biggest problem we got. It is on every level. From those living off of the welfare system, to doctors like in my husband's case, who won't even apologize to me, instead, he put the blame on my husband. People on all levels, in any field, are too fast to put the blame on the other guy. To me, this is a huge loss for the United States. We lose honour. I take responsibilties for every one of my actions in life, and I think, we all should no matter what our capacitiy or walk in life may be. I maybe not be the smartest light bulb in the box, but, I am not the dimmest either.

We need to laugh more in life about silly things, people I think, I see, has lost the abililty to laugh to see the funny in stuff. I remember growing up and hearing and laughing with my dad while watching Ma & Pa Kettle...he would say, " oh that pa..."

What the world, not just the USA needs, is more laughter.

I am tired of meeting those who are so depressed, so angry, so judgemental of others. I have been judged my whole entire life by those that are supposed to love me.

I don't do it anymore. I cut people loose. I give when and to whome I want to. That includes my time, my energy and what little money I can. I choose.

No, you give what society tells you to give.

We live in a democracy. And there are laws.

Rules be rules.

I have a number of recurring dreams. One is that I am walking on something very narrow (like a girder) very high up. It is terrifying.

Come back to the Corner Cookie.

are you observing something while up there? Do you see anything below? The girder, is it part of something, a structure, or is it like a balance beam? What are you wearing? Casual clothes, business clothes or even naked, lol. You say you have this repeatedly, have you aged on this girder? How long have you been having it? since a child?

I ask, because I have had the same dream for years.... wow. And, how funny, because I aged in it. :)

I have no sound can't hear that song, but, I know it and love it. But, no, I am not coming back. You can come here if you follow my RULES. :)

Maybe, it means that you are trying to balance challenges in life, or people in life, or circumstances, and maybe, you are afraid things are out of your reach, or those are very distant from you.

Balancing beam.

And all I'm thinking about is am I gonna fall?
