The sliding ceramic discs are a fairly common feature these days. What is unique about your stem is the long "cut off" broaching and the threaded escutcheon nipple. These two features usually indicate one of the "specialty" manufacturers, such as California Brass. Another feature of these manufacturers is that their handle and spout designs are often similar making it difficult to differentiate between them.
