Hot Water Storage Tank Replacement

Hello,

I have a hot water storage tank that is leaking at the temperature well. Can the well be replaced? Also I cant seem to find a place to by another hot water storage tank does anyone know where I could purchase them? Lowes and Home Depot do not sell them as far as I know. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I'm assuming this is an indirect water heater? If it's leaking, it's probably time to replace. If you're lucky, it may still be under warranty.

A "true" storage tank is a specialty item, and usually has to be ordered by a plumbing wholesaler.

But are they "insulated" storage tanks, which are basically an electric hot water heater without out the heating components?

Buy some 200$ water heaters and gang them up - 40 gallons each - cheapest way to go.
