Shortest Method to convert 1 1/2 down to 3/4 Hose Thread

The supply house may have more fittings.....but I was at the local orange yesterday and was looking at fittings in PVC.

It does not have to be PVC but what is the shortest / less pipe adapters that I can connect together to get from 1 1/2 MIP to 3/4 Garden Hose thread.
I'm using a sump pump with a garden hose to excavate water temporarily.
The PVC ended up being like 3-4 pieces with a 3/4" Brass ontop as the final piece to make this conversion.

For all you pro's out there.....that knows every fitting ;-), any ideas, suggestions.

a reducing coupling or two. 1 1/2 all the way down to 3/4 will be hard to find so you may have to drop twice

1 1/2" x 3/4" galvanized bushing and a 3/4" mip x male hose thread adapter, screwed into it.
