Has anyone ever heard or used the Brumby pump from Australia? It works on air pressure.

the brumby pump is nothing special, it's just an air lift aka pulsar pump where air bubbles lift water. you can make your own, it's kind of dumb to buy something so simple unless its cheap and i dont think brumby's are. they are great for clearing wells full of debris because there are no moving parts to get clogged. they are only efficient if they are submerged far under the water level. you want a 1:1 ratio at least, ie X feet of submersion under the water level for X feet of water level, but efficiency increases the more it is submerged. the problem is you have a bunch of air in the line too so it's only good for pumping water to non pressurized container like a trough for feeding your animals.
