Toilet Seats

I just bought 3 Toto Drakes and need 3 toilet seats. I didn't buy aby from the dealer thinking I could pick some up a home depot. Are they all the same or should I go back and buy some Toto seats? What's the pros and cons of wooded and plastic seats? Which ones are better.? What's a good seat? Thanks

Wood is cheap and the paint wears off. Thin plastic ones will keep their finish but can crack fairly easily. Good, heavy plastic ones are somewhat expensive.

If you got the standard round bowl, you can get a higher end plastic seat at The Home Depot or Lowe's for around $20. They are available for less but, as noted before, the wooden ones chip and stain easily and the $6 plastic models are a waste of time and money. If you invest in a good plastic one, it should last for YEARS. Just don't use any type of abrasive cleanser on it.
