Electric Eel Model N, Spartan 100, or Ridgid 3800 would get my vote. Also a Super-Vee with 3/8" and 1/4" cable.

I figured id ask my fellow plumbers what is a good tub drain machine. I have been using a ridged auto spin for about 3 years now believe it or not but im ready to upgrade.

Has anyone used a ridged k-40 for tubs and sinks? If you have how well does it work?

I've heard a lot of negative reviews for the K-40. I'm sure it would be fine for lavatories and tub drains. For half the price you could get a Super-Vee and do the same or better job.
Im sorry I ment to ask about the new Ridged K-45. I seen another plumber using it and it looked pretty decent. any thoughts?
