Twenty years on, the complaints I heard then about their trades turned out to be true, at least in Europe but here soon as well.
Sure, you can still do those sorts of jobs in Poland and the Czech Republic if you want to earn the same as someone working behind a counter in an American (or London) fast food restaurant. Not for me. Or my kids.
