Innocent until proven guilty.

You learnt that from us (together with free speech).

But clearly the best legal professionals, scientists, police etc. did not make it on the boat over.

The pilgrims were Godly people, and bless 'em they try so hard and work such long hours, but otherwise the best craftsmen stayed in England.

With the King.

And it shows.

You guys bring crazy cases to Court. In England, the police wait. But they get you.

My relatives came over in the 1620's
Glad to leave and have a new start.
It was seven generations later that the war started with Britain. Many of those at that time had never seen the mother ship.

But I think many thought of themselves as Americans the day they set foot on the boats.

That's one of the grand daughters. She comes with her mom when we play softball. Jamie is on the team too. Last year I was still taking chemo and batted .720
I don't know how I'm going to match that again. That was just crazy. This year I'm a lot quicker, but I still need to find the right places to hit to.

This is my nephew Caleb.

He doesn't really look like this but one day a year.

That's very 4th of July.

Pirates and traitors.

I can't believe they got away with it.

Theft. Of a country!

And there was evidence.

What proof Sir, do you have that the defendant stole your country?

Er. This....

That gets rid of any reasonable doubt.

I'm lookin' for those fellas that took our Land. And then we'll lock 'em up!

I was watching a history channel show about the US on Netflix.
The first episode was on the landing of the Pilgrims, which was cool because I'm related.

It also had Paul Revere's midnight ride, and the battle where the British lost so many men.
Pretty fun, oh, sorry Ian.

Yes Terry, there must have been good reasons for them to leave the old country on a dangerous trip like that back then. things could not have been that peachy in England back then either. Every new Pirates of the Carribean ( chronologically centuries later), gives me ideas how jolly things were back then. Aaaarg!

They left because they thought we were not religious enough.

In some sense they were religious extremists.

Fast forward 400 years and you can't move for churches in this place.

America is the only place on earth where you see police directing the trafffic leaving church carparks because of the congestion they cause!

I think it would have been better if the pilgrims had stayed where they were and moderated their beliefs a little.

They just want to make sure that you get to the liquor store safely when it opens at 12 noon.

I think that she was defending her country.

Guess you are not allowed to do that, what a shame.

I haven't been around much...
I get tired of reading the regurgitated EuroTrash myself...

Interesting how Cookie is gone and the trash remains....

Ahhh I'm Out!
The Moderation Stick swung in the wrong direction....

It gets old having to fight against hack advise through 50 threads and hundreds of posts...
Listening to someone constantly rank on the US of A when he should just pack his bags and head back...

It's my good friend Redwood.

The heated debates in question stay confined to a few threads at most and never in the main plumbing part of the forum.

They sometimes run to tens of pages, but that's a sign of lively interaction. And I take as good as I give.

If no-one replied I might take your point but...

...what did happen to Cookie?

Well Don I don't know if "That Name" would fly but it is an accurate description....
Maybe something like "Trash Can Forum" would be better....

It could start right off with moving about 2,384 posts into it.....

It goes both ways.

Ian pokes fun and the others poke fun.
It's not on plumbing threads.
Most of the time it's on nonsense type stuff that you can choose to read or not read. The trouble happens when people take it too seriously.
Remember humor? And dry humor?

If you personally like something very much, you like chocolate ice cream, and someone comes along and says they like strawberry, that's a conversation. Then it becomes an argument when you try to create a consensus as to what is the right flavor to enjoy.
Yes, there is only one flavor that we should enjoy.

Me, I'm for thirty-one flavors.

You guys can even say it should be vanilla, and nope, I'm not getting it.

Bacteria killer

Try this. Wrap say 6 to 12 feet of 1" stainless tubing or pipe with 1/4 inch soft copper tubing 1/4 inch between wraps. Keep copper tight to the stainless. Tie it with heavy copper wire Attach rope and drop it below the waterline in the well. It will have a electrolysis from the copper. I have been using this for over 5 years. No more flashing and it can stay in the well forever This idea was developed by me and a forum friend from Canada. Mike Monett. We call it the Pat and Mike bacteria killer. Let me know what you think.

I agree with what you say Terry but there needs to be a Forum for it.

It does not need to be under Health and wellness.

Make it Ian's Corner if need be. Or bash The U.S.A. or "Trash Can Forum"
That is freedom, I love it.

I agree in expression. We Should all have it.

I do Not agree in someone that Bangs my Lady or My country. But I am Old School.

I forgot to ask, why would that name not fly ?

Around here Bullshit is a natural occurring substance, And the fly's love it.

Have a great day everyone. Take time to smell the roses.

I think you guys all take Ian a little too seriously. I have a very good friend that is from Wales originally and has lived here for over 20 years now. He loves to poke fun at us and we poke fun at him in return. Even though I accuse him of lovingly admiring a herd of sheep, I'm pretty sure he's off them at this point.

If forums were all nicey nicey and polite nobody would visit them for very long would they?

It's a freedom of speech issue Don (the First Amendment).

I am always careful not to make anything personal, though.

And avoid anything hate-related.

Rarely speak of anything that isn't currently being debated in the media. Or historical.

But your health system sucks for the poorest in society. And the rich don't pay enough taxes. Both of those are about as health and wellness related as you might get. 4th July was great for you but what about those of us that lost the war? Look what happened to our tea.

If you think that's enough to have me deported, then by all means In God You Trust but you would be far from being free.

Tom,

I have friends form Africa and I can call them the N word in person. They call me a cracker, do I care, hell no.

But when you call people that you do not no, They will kick you cracker ass.

I do not think that i should push my religion on you, Nor will I Knock Your religion.

You can worship the devil If that is what you want to do.

You can BF your Boy friend I do not care. I do not want to watch.

But to live in the USA, then you need to respect our people.

It is not right to live here and talk about our people.

Get You ass back to Mommy, If you do not like it in the USA, You have have the Freedom to get your ass home...

I would suggest going home, If anyone thinks that it is so bad here in the USA.

I do not care where you are from.

There are good people from all over the World.

We all need to all get along, and not bash our fellow Neighbors.

That is my TRUE story, and I am sticking to it... Believe what you want, just don't push your belief on other people.

O and have a great weekend.
