I've narrowed my search down to the Aquia and Drake II for a master bath. I like the design of the Aquia but I am worried by the reports of the small water spot and streaking. Is the Drake II the safer alternative? Any experience is appreciated. Thanks.

I like the Drake more because of what you say about the water spot as well.
It is nice to have a dual flush toilet and use only .9gpf than 1.28 but normally what happens is people use the 1.6 gpf flush and so in the long run you would save using the 1.28gpf more.
Plus the Drake II has a better rim wash, CEFIONTECT finish and is slightly higher than the Aquia.

But if you like the skirted bowl look, then look at the Vespin II.
Tall bowl, CEFIONTECT, Double Cyclone Rinse, and skirted bowl for cleaning. It's killer
