Would anyone care to comment on the lifespan and quality of this unit for the price?
Thanks

Looks Like a good meter for the price.
The only concern I would have would be the CR2032 Battery.
I notice it has auto shut off, but if you use it very much, The Battery would not last very long.
But would be good for occasional use.
Looks good for the money, I think. Especially having True RMS.
Have a Great day.

P.S. A Good place to get a inexpensive meter and electronics is www.mcmelectronics.com
their stuff made in Taiwan is just as good as the rest. I think Japan makes better electronics tho.
But you will pay the price for it. The U.S. makes little electronics, Japan has always done better. Look at Sony verses RCA. No comparison. RCA is now assembled in mexico. Cheap labor gets the bids...

Don't pay someone to do a job fast, when you can do a half-fast job yourself.
I prefer units that use a 9v battery, because the battery WILL die at the most inappropriate times and unless you have a spare handy it will be a nuisance to find that battery.
Thanks, for the battery thoughts.
