Have a Whirlpool electric with leaking and corroded pipe nipples (3/4" MPT) on top of HWH, and have no access to loosen with a pipe wrench.

Is there another magic tool that plumber's have? Any suggestions?

They will be very tight, and we have several different methods of removing them and often have to try more than one to find the one which will work in a specific situation.

Thanks hj in Arizona,

I'm a seasoned DIYer. Are these tools I can buy or rent? (I thought I owned every tool known to man! ;))

Would a local plumber working out of his truck have them?
