MicroCenter is a cool place.
You might want to look at your system devices under the control panel;
Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager
Look for devices that are in Red or Yellow, You can delete them (They are not working anyway) then reboot your system and the drivers will be reinstalled.
That sometimes will fix problem devices, that were not installed properly. The drivers should be on your machine or your install disk.
That might be worth a try.
