Default Flushometers, American Standard Piston style

Got to attend an American Standard dog-and-pony road show yesterday. They are hyping their manual and sensor flushometers, which are piston-type instead of diagphram. I have modest experience on sloans, none on piston flushometers. Can you guys comment on the pros and cons???

The Sloan Crown piston flush valve is one of the most aggravating units to repair sometimes. It is usually better the just replace the piston than to go to the work of replacing the gaskets and it still doesn't work properly. Piston valves will work with lower water pressure, but that is their ONLY benefit.

The homegirl pointed to larger fill holes, which she said are not prone to clogging in bad water.
