I need a toilet for a half bath+ laundry area. The washer and dryer have to slide in front of the toilet to be installed and there isn't enough space for the dryer to get through, I need 27 in at least. For this reason, I am looking beyond basic shopping toilets, I need small dimension but still want effective flush and comfort. I am headed toward Drake Round Bowl...but I really need 15.5 inches from drain to anterior tip of toilet. Suggestions? the current toilet (which sticks out too far to remove the appliances) is cracked at the base where bolts were tightened and I am going to have it removed. Maybe once it is gone I can see if there is any more wiggle room.

How far the toilet projects into the room is a function of how far the pipe is from the rear wall. Most round front toilets are about 27" deep so with a 12" pipe roughin they would be 15" from the pipe to the front.
