I am remodeling our bathroom and am working on the DWV for the double vanity. I want to recess a cabinet into the wall right where the existing vent goes up. See attached diagram. I would like to cap off this vent and then run a separate vent from each lav up into the attic, and tie them together in the attic. Does everything in my sketch look legal?

I am in Oregon and we use the UPC.

You should not use a sanitary tee on it's back as a drainage fitting.
Instead of a double sanitary tee in the middle, you need a double fixture fitting.
Below the double sanitary tee should be a cleanout tee.

Instead of the sanitary tee on its back, is it okay to use a combo wye?

Also, is it okay to put a cap on top of the double fixture fitting?

Seems like an awfully convoluted way of going about this...

If you insist on using the double san-tee instead of a double fixture fitting, please for the sake of the drain cleaner install a proper clean out below it.

In that position and because there is an elbow off the tee for the drain itself a san-tee is fine because it is technically being used as a vent fitting. I/E the branch of the tee is dry and does not recieve waste. I would pipe it that way. Depending on trap arm sistances you may not need to run two vents.

IF you use the proper fitting, and the two arms are within the maximum permitted, you can use the single center vent and just offset it around the cabinet. Regardless of how you do it, you still need the proper fitting in the center, except using two vents you CAN use a double combo, otherwise you need a "back to back fixture fitting". Either on SHOULD have a cleanout below it.
