We upgraded to Gas Forced Heat and removed our old Boiler system and now have 2 large radiators upstairs that are too heavy to carry down the stairs and we can't get them apart with the tool. IS there a good blade that will cut it up so we can take it apart?

If they have long rods that hold the sections together, cut them and the sections will come apart with a cold chisel and a hammer. If they don't have the rods the sections still come apart with a chisel and hammer.

We tried to use a sawzaw but it wouldn't cut them.. we don't know what will cut them..they are the long bars. What kind of saw or blade will cut through them?

Here is a pic of the radiators=they are not connected to anything-the other one is right behind the front one.

Around here people are paying good money for radiators like that. I don't know what it weighs but it looks easier to move than a refrigerator/freezer. Maybe you just need some stronger helpers.

Radiators

They weigh atleast 700lbs. We had 7 strong guys & couldn't lift it..and it's upstairs and it would have to be turned or lifted above the railing to go down our stairs because there is a turn in our stairs so it has to be taken apart. If you know of anyone around Central Indiana that would be interested, let me know.

Those do not appear to have "drawbolts" so they were assembled with left/right nipples. Break the sections with a hammer to divide it into smaller pieces.
