    The way to put the wire in is with the Yonkers yellow pages under "electrician".

    Better yet, put in a gas stove and use the gas pipe for gas.

    That was my first thought. IMHO, gas stoves are better.

    There was a three Stooges segment where they managed to pull wires through water and gas lines. OP - have a look for how-to-do.

    I am also guessing that the electric range in question only requires a 40 amp circuit? What is the kW rating?

    You can't make that pull. That is a stupid, illegal and unsafe idea. You should not even try to make that pull but please videotape the attempt so we can all have a good laugh just in case you decide to try it.
