I dropped two small 1/2" stainless steel screws from the shower drain strainer into the p-trap.
The screws are non magnetic. Shower drain goes into the slab. I can not
see down into the drain as the water is cloudy. Is there a way to get the
screws out without cutting out the whole drain?

Thanks

If the screws are small they will go down the drain without any harm. You just need new screws.

I have gotten lucky a couple of time with mechanical fingers if the trap is straight down.

You could also use a vacuum. A smaller diameter piece of hose taped onto the vacuum hose might work wonders.
