The cartridge is from the temp control valve. I am trying to find out what the brand is and if there is a flow restrictor on this paticular model as i have very lttle cold water even with the cartridge out.

ANY flow restrictor would be AFTER the control valve. There could be filter screens on the inlets under the chrome trim ring, which are clogged. Normally, if the flow is slow and does not increase no matter where the handle is positioned, then the problem is in the piping AFTER the handle. If it is slow for either hot or cold, but increases in the mixed/center position, then it is in the supply lines to the valve.

Turns out there was flow restrictor valves on each pipe at connection. Upon removing and cleaning the pressure is not awesome with temp cartridge out. The temp cartridge is still restricting the flow alot and probably needs to be replaced as I have already cleaned it. I have two of the same showers and there is still a huge difference. If anyone recognizes the cartridge brand or thinks they might itwould be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Wade

They seldom have "flow restrictor valves" in the piping. What you have are probably "integral stops" to shut off the water to service the valves. They could also be integral check valves, but they also would not be "flow restrictors".

actually imeant to say the pressure is NOW awsome, not "not awesome ". You could right bu they look like flow restrictors to me as they are adjustable to increase or decrease pressure.
