    Default Pipe size

jetting a shallow well here soon and have a question. i will be using a pitcher pump with a 1.25 inch pipe conection. i have alot of 1.5 inch (pvc) pipe and a couple 1.5 inch (pvc) well screens that some one was getting rid of (free to me!). The question is: will the pitcher pump work with the 1.5 inch drop pipe and well screens or do i need to buy 1.25 inch pipe and screens to get it to work right? Thank you.

Yes it will work fine. If its not too deep. Just use a bushing for one to the other.
Make sure there are no air leaks.
