Default Old Style Delta tub and shower valve?

Old style delta shower valve (single ball type) . I get hot and cold water , but no warm water at all.

I put in all new Delta parts still no water at all in the middle on position. Any insight would be great.

Could this be a delta knock off and the delta parts dont work properly?. I took the face plate off and it does not look like the traditional delta body style. I mean its simalir ,but not the same. come to think of it the face plate was not delta.

Customer said it used to have warm water till after the husband fixed it. Where i am at right now. I think its a knock off and the delta parts just dont work right in it. I have know idea what brand might restore warm water. actually any water in the middle position.

    Thanks in advance

Are you sure you aligned the ball properly when you reassembled the valve?

For that to happen, the openings in the ball, or faucet, would have to be so far out of alignment, that they would not line up with either opening in the middle, and that stretches our credulity that it could happen. Therefore, we would either need some very detailed pictures or be there ourselves to see what is happening.
