I need some advice. I just changed out all the trim pieces on my bathtub/shower...part of a remodel.

I have a 1/2" gap behind the new tub spout, but would like it to be flush up against the shower wall. Any suggestions?

I have Moen hardware, 1/2" copper pipe (extends 1.75" beyond shower wall), and am using a slip fit diverter tub spout.

Thanks in advance. I searched through the past posts and didn't find this exact problem...did see that I might consider finding a 1/8" trim plate, but that won't completely solve my problem.

Thanks,
Harold

Sounds like your spout can be adjusted if you just cut off the difference.
Don't forget to calk the hole......

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
