Thread: Side venting a gas boiler

Default Side venting a gas boiler

My next project on my house is to remove the chimney running from the basement up thru the middle of my kitchen. My intent was to put a b-vent up the side of the house and box it in. After doing a little research I came across the tjernlund website. Now my focus has changed from vertical venting to horizontal. Is there anyway of knowing if my Lennox boiler model # GWB8-E 140-E (81.3AFUE) can be vented using a gas side wall power vent?

    Thanks for the help

Read the installation manual or call the manufacturer...
