Default .41 ppm iron, filter needed?

Have not used well before, was already on property. Well is @ 400' deep, pump at 240'. I plan to shock (e-cole tested positive), run some more and re-test just for good measure but first test came back at: iron .41 ppm, hardness is 7.5 40 ppm. My concern is iron turning fixtures in house rust color. Do you think I need a filter or not (rather not if I can help it)? (I know epa max level is .3 ppm)
