That is one of many things...

My neighbor's GE dishwasher won't allow the water to enter when it's turned on. Soneone told her to check the "float'!! Would that cause the water not to enter?? If not, any suggestions?? Thanks

Simple question, did someone shut off the supply valve? Wouldn't be the first time that's happened.
Is this new and happened when installed, or an existing one where it just started happening?

Easier than that !! Her son, while fixing their faucet, turned off the water valve to it under the sink and she didn't know it!!!! But thanks
Some people look for the most difficult reasons first, instead of starting with the elementary ones.
