If you could choose...

What would install? 2 inch or 1 1/2 for a clawfoot tub? I know code tells me I can install either one but want your opionons.

1 1/2" for the trap, arm and vent. 2" for the drain.

I usually run 2" and use a 2" trap with a reducing bushing on the inlet. It just makes for a better, longer lasting, drain.
