Is this fitting allowed under UPC? I want to pick up a toilet, tub, and a 2 inch branch that goes over to another room to pick up the kitchen sink.

Licensed residential and commercial plumber
In the vertical position it is legal under both the UPC and the IPC but it will raise eyebrows and take an inspector that actually knows his code to approve it. My question is where are you going to find one?
No, plumbing ain't rocket science. Unlike rocket science, plumbing requires a license!
