I am currently in the process/planning a bathroom remodel and for the life of me I can't remember the measurements for the rough plumbing of the tub/shower valve. ie...The riser, bumpers, the "outs" for the on/off, cold/hot knobs, the "down" for the tub spigot...etc... I know some of these measurements vary from valve to valve(moen, kohler,etc..), but is there a general "rule of thumb"? Also, what is the typical measurement for the 2" by 4" "blocking" to support the valve? Please help. Thanks Kindly!!!
